Berni, the Sensitivity of Progressivism and the Immigration Policy

On September 12th 2012, the National Secretary of Security, Sergio BERNI, highlighted the involvement of foreigners (especially, Colombians and Peruvians) in certain crimes committed on Argentinean territory. (1) As it was expected, these statements provoked a heated controversy and, within its framework, there were accusations of xenophobia and racism.
